Dr. Wali Gauvin specializes in childhood obesity and pediatric weight management. He provides medical care for children and adolescents with high cholesterol, high blood pressure and insulin resistance.
Dr. Wali Gauvin also specializes in diagnosing and managing infants, children and adolescents with congenital or acquired cardiac abnormalities.
Dr. Gauvin is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist. He received his medical degree from The State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed his pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital, and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Gauvin is passionate about nutrition and physical fitness because he knows that being overweight affects the overall health and well being of children and adolescents.
